The #1 country band, Ricochet, is going to be playing Friday night (April 17th).  Ricochet is well known for “Daddy’s Money” and an award winning rendition of the Star Spangled Banner that they play at major sporting events.  Watch the “Daddy’s Money” video below or see more on the festival home page.

We also have two new bits of entertainment that start on Saturday morning (April 18th):

The absolute best reason to not miss the 2009 festival

March 15th, 2009

We’ve got to be creative on this one. The best reason to not miss the 2009 festival may generate some heated discussions, but we’ve got to know: what is the favorite reason to be at the festival?  Everybody can think of a lot of fun reasons – the pageant kids are great, the delicious food, catching up with friends, just getting out of the house, and more.

We will be announcing in our April 10th update the most talked about unofficial “Best Reason” to not miss this year’s fun.  Sure, you can use the ShareThis button to invite your extended family to talk up your reason that you know should be #1.

YUMMY – Top Favorite Festival Food has got to be…

March 14th, 2009

Just one favorite?  Really?  How can I pick between the chili, cotton candy, bratwurst, and the FUDGE?  Is that even possible?

Try to think of your Top Favorite Festival Food and tell us about it in the comments.  Do you have a reason why it it is at the top of your favorite list?

As always, you can send friends to your comment by using the ShareThis button at the bottom of this post.  You could even get your friends to vote up why bratwurst is better than cotton candy (really? is it?) – just send them to this post using the ShareThis button and ask them to help you make your point.

See you at the concession stand.
